EVENT OVERVIEW
Each grade will be asked to supply a camping tent for about 8 to 10 adults. Parents will help set-up the tents and decorate the event location. Kinder to 5th grade will each have a tent and. volunteer teacher will take turn reading selected books within the tent to a group of students. Between reading sessions students will be able to enjoy Mexican Hot Chocolate and Pan Dulce.
Kids are encouraged to come in a pajamas or any comfortable outfit. Make this an awesome event by volunteering to provide a tent/lights or help make decorations ahead of time or hang-up decoration the day of the event

- This event is lead by Adelante Parent Coordinators from various grades with the help from several parents have joined the 2025 Planning Committee
+ HISTORY of this event
- This event was organized every year during mid October but had to go on hiatus during the year after COVID. Last year 2024 with the help of 1st grade Parent Coordinators and 1st grade teachers it was restarted and moved to February to coincide with Reading Marathon.
